About CWAA Learning

We teach the thinking, not just the topic

CL
Founder & Educator

Chester Liew

BEng · MSc Project Management · MSc Information Systems · Distinction Scholarship Recipient

As a father of two, Chester founded CWAA Learning with a simple belief: students learn best when they feel confident, curious and supported.

His interest in education began at home, finding ways to make difficult or abstract ideas easier for his own children to understand and enjoy. That experience shaped CWAA's approach: structured learning, clear explanations and a strong emphasis on helping students develop confidence in how they think.

Chester holds a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, together with Master's degrees in Project Management and Information Systems. His academic and professional journey spans engineering, the marine industry, technology and project leadership, giving him a broad, analytical perspective on problem-solving and learning.

As CWAA grows, Chester will also take an active teaching role, bringing his structured approach, real-world problem-solving experience and parent's perspective into the classroom.

His goal is to help students move beyond memorising methods and instead develop the confidence to understand problems, reason through them and explain their thinking clearly.

NJ
Math Coach

Naroshinii Annaselam

MEng, University of Strathclyde · Dean's List · Scholarship Recipient

An experienced Math coach known to students and parents as Teacher NJ, Naroshinii combines strong academic foundations with a patient, structured and encouraging approach to teaching.

She holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where she was named to the Dean's List across multiple academic years and received several competitive academic and industry scholarships.

Her engineering background shapes the way she teaches Mathematics: breaking complex problems into logical steps, helping students recognise relationships and guiding them to understand why a method works — not simply memorise what to do.

Just as importantly, Teacher NJ is deeply invested in building each student's confidence. Her goal is for students to leave not only able to solve more challenging questions, but increasingly able to approach unfamiliar problems independently.

"Confidence Within, Achievement Ahead."

What was once her least favourite subject has become the one she looks forward to most. She's gone from dreading Maths to asking about Maths Olympiads — a change we never imagined possible.
